He sees NHS patients at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Wycombe Hospital and at The Saxon Clinic.
Private patients:
Appointments should be booked directly with the private hospital. A referral letter from the GP would be useful but it is not essential. Mr. Chennagiri is happy to accept a referral from a physiotherapist and some insurance companies are ok to authorise it. Please confirm with your insurer.
It is advisable to arrive a few minutes early so that you can complete the registration paperwork with the reception desk. Please bring your pre-authorisation number (given by your insurer) and your insurance details with you for registration.
At the clinic, your condition will be assessed by obtaining a history and performing a relevant clinical examination. After assessment, if radiographs (x-rays) are necessary, they can be taken and discussed during the same appointment.
If you need a scan (eg. MRI, CT or Ultrasound) or other tests (eg. Nerve conduction studies), Mr. Chennagiri will arrange it. Please book a review appointment once the investigation has been completed.
If you need hand therapy or physiotherapy, Mr. Chennagiri will make the referral. If you need surgery, convenient dates will be discussed.
NHS Hospital appointments:
Appointments should be organised with a referral letter from your GP either through the ‘Choose and Book’ system or the conventional system.
In the clinic, you may be assessed either by Mr. Chennagiri or by one of the junior doctors (trainees). After assessment, if X-rays are necessary, they can be taken and discussed during the same appointment.
If you need a scan (eg. MRI, CT or Ultrasound) or other tests (eg. Nerve conduction studies), Mr. Chennagiri will arrange it. Please book a review appointment once the investigation has been completed.
